AMF Hospital improves Lab and Pharmacy services thanks to the introduction of MediTRAK.
For the past 2 Weeks, the PANUS Team has been operating from the ActivSpaces co-working space at Soppo, Buea. This is due to the power outage that has been affecting the North West and South West Region of Cameroon for over two weeks now.
For over two weeks; there has been no stable electricity supply in the South West and North-West Regions of Cameroon. Some towns have gone for days without electricity; while others only get to experience about 2 or 3 hours of electricity per day.
To stay operational and be able to deliver services to our clients, our team had to temporarily relocate to ActivSpaces offices where a generator recently donated by the French Ambassador to Cameroon is being used.
Thanks to this generator by the French Embassy / Business Community, we have been able to maintain our service delivery to our clients; despite the inconveniences and sometimes crowded nature of the space. Many other tech start-ups have also temporality moved to ActivSpaces to take advantage of the standby generator in order to continue working on their various tech services.
The nature of the technology business is 101% dependent on a constant supply of electricity and internet.
With the advent of the Covid-19 in Cameroon, our team might have to work from home in the days ahead for safety reasons. However, with the current power outage, it will be impossible for our team to work if the power situation is not rectified soon. We will keep you posted as the situation unfolds.
